After a longer break the House of the Black Heads shall open its doors for visitors for a couple of days a week as of 15 May 2020. Come and revel in the luxuriant surroundings!
The main care of the House of the Black Heads is the well-being and safety of its visitors, that’s why everything has been prepared so in the light of the current emergency situation in the country anyone could peacefully walk through the mysterious cellars and Historical offices of the house, delve into the story of the Riga Blue Guard and gaze at the rooms that once were occupied by noblemen.
Why visit the House of the Black Heads?
- In the large and luxurious halls the visitors can take in the beautiful interior and inform themselves on the history of the House of the Black Heads while easily observing a two metre distance from one another.
- What a wonderful way to get out of the house and spend an informative afternoon with your family or on your own in a safe and spacious environment.
- Recently two new halls were opened – the Blue Guard hall and the Salon both revealing a captivating story and a beautiful interior.
- The premises of the building are in line with all the necessary requirements of epidemiological safety.
The House of the Black Heads is ready to greet the first visitors on Friday, May 15th starting from 12.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
As of now the House will be ready to welcome visitors four times a week:
Thursdays and Fridays from 12.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Likewise we would like to inform you that group tours shall not take place during this time.
We strongly advise that persons with symptoms of respiratory infections i.e. cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and increased body temperature stay home and not visit the House of the Black Heads, nor any other public place.
