Built with the building in 1334, the cellars are a historic part of the original house that has survived to the present day. They used to serve as warehouses for traders, but nowadays it is possible to walk around the cellars, feel the medieval atmosphere, get into the everyday life of traders and explore how the historical center of Riga has changed over the centuries.

Historical cabinets and silver collection
The historic cabinets of the House of the Black Heads are decorated according to 19th-century interiors. Here you can see the largest silver collection in the Baltics. Meetings of the Brotherhood of Balck Heads have taken place in the cabinets. From 2012 to 2016, the historic cabinets were the premises of the President of Latvia.
Luxurious halls
The most beautiful balls in Riga have long been held in the Celebration halls of the house. The ceiling of the Celebration hall depicts one of the masterpieces of decorative and monumental painting - the apotheosis of Saint Mauritius.
